Got a hold of Doddie at last, I have been after him for a while now, met up with him last Saturday, he allowed me no more than a minute to get him ready, and take a few frames, I got three pics of him before he went camera shy.......

Seppi ........

The amazing talent of Seppi called in on me a few days back and he kindly agreed to sit for me. Seppi who is normally more comfortable on the other side of the camera had just finished photographing the well known TV and celebrity chef Nick Nairn for his latest venture.

Lauder Amateur Dramatic Society / The Black Ring

Lauder Amateur Dramatic Society is performing four plays, each night from Wednesday 10th March through to Saturday 13th. I was asked down last night to the dress rehearsal to take some pics of one to the plays.

" Lauder Common Riding / MacMillan Nurses Cancer Support"

Maxwell... Fancy Dress 2009

Lauder Common Riding is one of several rideouts held throughout the year in the Scottish Borders. I have been photographing the event for over 25 years. This year, proceeds of the sale of photographs of the "Fancy Dress" and the "Common Riding Saturday" will be donated to the Borders MacMillan Cancer Support (a charity close to my heart). I would like to thank every one who bought photographs from my "Breaking Glass" web site. Over £200.00 has ben raised and will be handed over to the MacMillan Nurses later this month.

"Lauder Worthys"

The "Lauder Worthys" ....... First exhibited in 1996. I'am presently working the second exhibition of the "Worthys" containg all the original exhhibition photographs with a new batch of "Worthys". Exhibition date to be conformed. Above are some of the original photographs from 1996 with a few new additions.

"Shelleys Dress"

It was a pleasure to photograph Shelley and Trevor's wedding towards the end of last year in Wimborne Minster and then on to Chewton Glen in Hampshire. Shelley and her chum Karen travelled up from Southampton a few weeks back to have Shelley's dress photographed in my studio in Lauder. ( This offer of a studio session after your wedding is open to all my brides)

The dress was a wedding gift to Shelley from Justin Alexander, the designer. It had 45 yards of silk dupion and 3000 Sarvoski crystals. Shelley said it was heavy but luxurious to wear. The headdress was by John Frost and the shoes by RainbowClub. All were gifts and would have cost £20,000.

Shelley is donating the dress to a cancer charity, hence why she wanted it photographed again before she has to part with it.

Thank you Shelley and Trevor for a fab few days last November.

"Magnus" Our Irish Wolfhound Pup

"Magnus"....... now 5 months old he is 33 Kg in weight, and growing. I have forgotton how much hard work it is looking after a pup, especially one so large in size.
