Rossi and Gareth informal pic and some more!!

Rossi and Gareth were at the studio on Sunday evening for their informal photograph, their wedding is taking place in a few weeks at Castello di Modanella in Tuscany not far from Siena, which I am looking forward to..........  Great fun was had in the studio.
However Gareth was ambushed by five of his friends ( !!! ) as he he left the studio and was thrown to the ground.  It took three of them to pin him down but eventually they got their man. What happened next was not pleasant.............  the blackening !!!!
They forced Gareth into the cattle trailer and drove him off, tied him to a tree and did the deed. The sheep dye, sawdust and a few other things were there on hand. Not a pretty sight......
Gareth thought he may had got away with it, but how did they know he was in Lauder ..... we believe he innocently let it slip that he was coming down to the studio with Rossi for their photograph........  silly boy !!

Catherine and Pete at Lecropt Kirk / Roman Camp 08/06/12

Catherine and Pete were married at Lecropt Kirk - Bridge of Allan on Saturday with the reception at the Roman Camp. In all the times I have travelled past Stirling on the M90 and looked up and saw a church through the trees I have always wondered where that church was, and how to get to it .......  now I know.
A fab day was had by all, Catherine's M&Ds accents were getting stronger as the day went on, fabulous to hear. A big thank you to Laura, Catherine's sister and her girls, Kris, best man and his ushers for all their help, and Helen for joining in on the fun. Thank you Shona and all the staff at Roman Camp and as always Catherine and Peter for letting me share their day with them.

Kirsty and Nick at Prestonfield House 01/06/12

Kirsty and Nick were married at Prestonfield House last Friday. A fabulous day was had by all. Thankfully the weather held up after the downpour on the Thursday. A big thank you to Kirsty's sister Katie and the girls, best man Calum, Nick's brother. The wedding was attended by close family and friends with a party taking place in Aberdeen on Saturday evening. Thank you to all the staff at Prestonfield House and of course Kirsty and Nick for letting me share their day with them.

Katie and Dani at Roman Camp

Katie and Dani were married at the Trossachs Church and then on to Roman Camp. Both friends and family had a great day. Dani's family came accross form Switzerland for the wedding, where Katie and Dani are based.
A big thank you to Phil, the Best Man and Suzie, Katie's sister for all their help, and also to Shona and all the staff at "Roman Camp".

At the MPA Scottish Region Photographic Awards last night, held in Edinburgh, Ewen won the title of "Scottish Wedding Photographer Of The Year" for the second time. He also won "Scottish Reportage Photographer" of the year for his fourth time. This goes along with his many other awards including the "U.K. Wedding Photographer of the Year 2005"

The photograph was taken at the wedding of Alex and John at Gleneagles last August, (see blog archive) a big thank you to Alex and John and the team at Gleneagles.

Lucy and Scott at Archerfield House 24/03/12

Lucy and Scott were married at Archerfield House on Saturday. The wedding was attended by close friends and family. It was a great day, very relaxed and everyone was enjoying themselves. The haar did not lift at any time during the afternoon, adding an interesting atmosphere.

A big thank you to Bruce for all his help, brother and best man to Scott, all the staff at Archerfield. All the guests for joining in on the photographs.....and of course Lucy and Scott for letting me share their day with them.

Hope they are having a great time in Italy.

Claire and Alastair at Greyfriars Kirk and the Witchery 17/02/12

Claire and Alastair were married on Friday at Greyfriars Kirk / Greyfriars Bobby and on to the Witchery in Edinburgh. The service was attended by close family and friends. It was a great day, we toured the streets of Edinburgh in the Rolls Royce shortly after the service, stopping off at a few places for some photographs, finishing off at the Castle in the darkness, and then on to the Witchery. A big thank you to all, especially Claire and Alistair for letting me share their day with them.
