Libby and Tom at Chelsea Old Church.
I attended the wedding of my niece Libby, at Chelsea Old Church www.chelseaoldchurch.org.uk, a magnificent old church with stacks of history. Although I was not the official photographer I still took some shots throughout the day, hope I did not step on the toes of Lucy (Davenport Photography) to much, I don't think I did as I kept well out of the way. It was a great experience being a total guest at a wedding for a change. Thank you Libby and Tom for letting me enjoy the day. The two shots below were taken at the church while waiting for Libby to arrive.

Claire and Jonathan at Dirleton Kirk and Archerfield
Had the great pleasure of photographing Claire and Jonathan's wedding recently. Dirleton Kirk is a beautiful little church, and it was a pleasure to be in the company Howard the retired minister from Loretto School in Musselburgh, a brilliant service once again Howard thank you. Also thank you to Chloe Claire's sister and chief bridesmaid and Simon Jonathan's best man for all their help through out the day, Lindsey and all the staff at Archerfield and of course Claire and Jonathan for letting me share their day with them. We eventually got down to the waterfront, it was a bit blustery but great fun ........

I had the pleasure of photographing Nicola and Pat's wedding in Ballybrown, Clarina and then on to Nenagh in Co Tipperary recently. Thank you to Suzie and the girls for all their help, Pat's brother Liam who was also best man, for all his help on the day and for running me back to Shannon Airport on Monday morning. Ray at the hotel who brilliantly organised the reception at the hotel and of course Nicola and Pat for letting me share their day with them.......... Emma and Martin at Thirlstaine Castle
Emma and Martin were married on Friday 1st August at Thirlstaine Castle, Lauder. It was a briliant two days with close friends and family on attendance. It is the first time that I've had two weddings back to back in my home town of Lauder. Emma's was the Friday evening of Lauder Common Riding. Emma, Martin and Martin's family from Ireland came to the studio before attending the "Common Riding Ball"on the Saturday. We had some great fun in the studio, and champagne flowed. Thank you to Emma and Martin for letting me share their weekend with them. To view the wedding photographs please follow the following link.

Jo and Dougie at Lauder Parish Kirk
Jo and Dougie are the first of two weddings I will be photographing in my home town of Lauder in the space of eight days. I travel the length and breadth of the country travelling to weddings but this is a first for me. Two consecutive weddings in Lauder, brilliant....... Hells Angels were in town for the wedding. Jo was escorted to the church by Echo and Matt. We had great fun in and around Lauder, then on to a marquee in the garden for the reception. Big thank you to Jo and Dougie. Also to Jenny, Jo's bridesmaid, and the Hells Angels for all their help and the Rev John Shields for yet another magnificent service.
More photographs to follow on the blog.

Amanda and Chris at Broxmouth Park
What a day!! Started early and finished late on. Knackered, but a brilliant day.
The rain never really went off and with the haar in East Lothian, it made it a slightly damp day, but that did not dampen the spirits of Amanda and Chris. Rain? What rain! Let's go and enjoy ourselves. And we did. Big thank you to the bridesmaids and best men. All twelve of them. And Hugh, what a service. He had one rule for me in his church. I had to laugh at his jokes. Well we all did, brilliant stuff.......
Also thank you to all the staff at Broxmouth Park for all their help and of course Amanda and Chris for letting me share their day with them.

Laura amd Ross at Clint Lodge
Back at "Clint Lodge" in the Scottish Borders for the wedding of Laura and Ross.
It was a great day, beautiful little church that I had never been to before just at the bottom of "Scotts View" Mertoun Kirk, and on to Mertoun House and Gardens for a stroll round with some bubbles.
Thank you to Laura and Ross for letting me share their day with them.
